There are numerous locations in Xenthe that you could have your characters interact with. However please note the following:
You cannot teleport directly into the Temple at any point due to Veriden's magical wards forbidding such an action. -
- Veriden has numerous Scrying crystals which cannot be detected by any entity apart from himself, allowing the Faceless King to know where and when any Wayfarer decides to traverse within a set distance of the Temple itself.
There is only one portal that offers direct teleport to the Temple Of Ruin. It is east of Tel'ranoi, upon a not so trodden path through a dense, untamed forest of ancient eyes.
If you are so inclined for a challenge or a swift death, the surrounding forests of Xenthe presents a particular lethal traverse. All manner of Monsters call the forests their home, so tread wisely.
Once a Ruin, now reconstructed to a simplistic majesty. A single, foreboding throne sits alone on the dais. Stain glass of blues and greys decorating the walls as you approach the throne. This chamber is primarily for the Faceless King to gain audiences with his people.
Once it was full of architectural grace and beauty. Now, it lays as a Ruin for the Temple. The forgotten God it was once paying homage too lies a faded memory.
One of the courtyards that exist within the maze of the Temple's walls.
Unless you desired to walk, the fastest way to leave the Temple of Ruin is through the single portal situated within the clearing nearside the temple's structure.
Underneath the Temple of Ruin lies a dark, damp maze of old death. Rid of its previous undead squatters its now a foreboding place where many fear to tred.
Thought to have been the hall of blood-letting and sacrafice, it is now a haunted hall of surreal scents and auras. It leads down into the Catacombs.
Just off the Temple's main entry hall, lies the underground majesty of the pools. Trees long since invaded its holy structure and now grow with sunlight casting through huge stain glass arches. The water is azure in colour and is essentially a hot spring welling from the earth below.
Through the maze of Catacombs in the very underbelly of the Temple of Ruin lies a mysterious circular door. What it is hiding...or keeping locked away is still uncertain.
To the west of the Temple, lies the reconstructed village of Nuduin. Population made mostly of Human and Elven souls, it provides basic amenities such as; Inn and Tavern, weapon-smith/blacksmith, farrier with stables and a small merchant store. It is by far the safest place in Xenthe.
To help with the reconstruction of the Village of Nuduin, the common-folk started work on mining the rich resources the land of Xenthe had to offer.
The Grand capital city of Xenthe has been fully restored by the wish granting magics of Rashirra. The dragon and Daeshar whom once claimed this jewel have been defeated. Progress is being made to move into the city from the villages.
Under the shadow of the Spine of Xenthe lies a seemingly never-ending expanse of Marshland. Sodden and almost impassable, unless one had the skills to see hidden pathways through the dangerous sinking mud-pools and deceptively deep puddles.
The second Village to be repopulated and rebuilt by the Faceless King's forces. It now holds roughly 1500 denizens. Holding its own Smithy, Inn and Tavern, stables and working mill/granary.
